I am excited to announce my campaign for re-election to the Los Altos Hills City Council. It has been an honor to serve our Town as a Council Member for four years, one of which I was the Mayor. As most of you know, this has been a job I thoroughly enjoy doing. With your support, I look to be seated for another four-year term this November.
I have kept a keen eye on our Town’s finances and have worked hard to find solutions to vexing, long-standing problems and end inappropriate spending practices. I helped restore a 30-year tax inequity for our Town that will net us over $300,000 a year when fully restored—money we can use for Town services without needing to raise your taxes. I have pushed for a Master Path Plan Map update—the first in over 10 years and am working to balance our approach to building a comprehensive pathway system fairly…for the benefit of all residents. And, I am proud to have initiated and successfully launched weekly, open Mayor’s Office Hours in addition to our beloved Annual 4th of July Parade.
For the first time in six years, Los Altos Hills will hold an election with more candidates than seats. Having served the Town as a Volunteer, Committee Member, Council Member and Mayor, I am uniquely qualified with a proven public track record showing numerous achievements for our community. But there is still more work to do and I am determined to win another term.
